A Soulful Story of Love and Heartbreak

“If Only… (Remix)” explores the complicated emotions that come with loving someone who fails to appreciate your loyalty and affection.

Through emotional lyrics and heartfelt performances, both singers reflect on disappointment, relationship struggles, and the strength it takes to recognize your own worth.

The song draws inspiration from Patti LaBelle’s timeless R&B classic “If Only You Knew,” connecting the golden era of soul music with today’s contemporary R&B sound.

CANDIACE brings vulnerability and honesty to the recording, while Tamar Braxton adds another powerful perspective on heartbreak, betrayal, and moving forward.

Two Incredible Voices, One Powerful Message

Known for her television appearances on The Real Housewives of Potomac, CANDIACE continues establishing herself as a serious recording artist with a growing passion for authentic R&B storytelling.

Meanwhile, Grammy-nominated singer Tamar Braxton, celebrated for hits including “Love and War,” “All the Way Home,” and “The One,” brings her incredible vocal range, emotional intensity, and years of musical experience to this unforgettable collaboration.

Produced by Triangle Park and Yonatan Watts, the remix delivers smooth instrumentation, soulful harmonies, and a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of classic R&B love songs.

More than simply a song about a broken relationship, “If Only… (Remix)” reminds listeners that emotional healing begins with recognizing their value and learning when to let go.
